Reading List - 2021

The first half of this year was so messy and turbulent in my life that I barely had the time or attention to read anything. And the second half of the year- well, I needed some comfort and solace. So this year, my reading list is all about the book-version of soul food.

The list goes thus-

  1. The Effective Executive – Peter Drucker

  2. Good to Great – Jim Collins

  3. 21 lessons for the 21st Century – Yuval Noah Harari

  4. Elephants can Remember: Poirot – Agatha Christie

  5. A Caribbean Mystery: Marple – Agatha Christie

  6. At Bertram’s Hotel: Marple – Agatha Christie

  7. Dead Man’s Folly: Poirot – Agatha Christie

  8. Halloween Party: Poirot – Agatha Christie

  9. After the Funeral: Poirot – Agatha Christie

  10. The Return of Sherlock Holmes – Arthur Conan Doyle

  11. His Last Bow: Sherlock Holmes – Arthur Conan Doyle

  12. The Sign of Four – Arthur Conan Doyle

  13. A Study in Scarlet – Arthur Conan Doyle

  14. The extraordinary adventures of Arsene Lupin – Maurice LeBlanc

  15. Origin – Dan Brown

  16. Salvation of a Saint – Keigo Higashino

  17. The Odessa File – Frederick Forsyth

  18. The Sands of Time – Sidney Sheldon

  19. The Andromeda Strain – Michael Chrichton

Yes, I know I managed to read very few fiction titles this year. And if you managed to look closely, you'd notice that the non-fiction list is all concentrated on the few, good ol' short, detective/ mystery stories.

I did, however, manage to cover more ground in the non-fiction plains the next year...
